A
wide range of synthetic Rubber Flexible Connectors are
offered to meet most HVAC, process and industrial applications.
The most common are the Tozenflex and Twinflex product
lines. Tozenflex (TZF) is a single sphere expansion and flexible
joint that is made of EPDM rubber.
Twinflex (TWF) is a double sphere
connector that is designed for greater axial and transverse
movement and is made of neoprene rubber.
Tozenflex and Twinflex products are available
with either floating flange or union end connections.
When proper anchoring of the pipe system is not possible,
both products can be provided with control
sets that are adjustable and limit the joint movement.
The F21 product includes an integral control set as a standard feature.
The TBF (Toughboy) high temperature rubber joint is designed to handle hot water applications with a continuous operating temperature of 220 °F. Composed of formulated EPDM rubber, a special curing process is used to obtain the high continuous temperature rating.
The Actflex (ACF) universal connector combines the durability of stainless steel with the noise and vibration isolation of rubber. Ideal for extremely hot applications, corrosive fluids and noise/vibration elimination, the Actflex is the most universal joint on the market.
